This film deals with the persecution of the Latino/a community in Los
Angeles, especially women street vendors, in the wake of Prop. 187. The
event is sponsored by Anthropology/Archaeology, the Hispanic Month
Planning Committee, LUChA, with support from the Austin Kelly Fund, the
Dept of Political Science, the Program in Women's Studies, the Program
in Film and Media Studies, the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate
Education, the Office of the Dean of the School of Humanities and Social
Sciences.
