Michael Kearney, age 10 (yes, that's in people years), has been doing the
media circuit as the youngest ever college graduate. Michael earned a
bachelor's degree in anthropology at the University of South Alabama this
year. What is more remarkable is that he already has a job -- albeit
strictly speaking as an anthropologist. He will be a special correspondent
on ABC's Mike and Maty show.

Of course, we all know that if the kid goes on to graduate school in
anthropology, he'll still be 35 before he gets his PhD. Some laws of the
universe are not to be tampered with!

Now let's see: That would be 25 years between B.A. and Ph.D., which
is exactly how long I took. Yup, Anj is about right.
