Subject: anticipated job opening
The ERIC Clearinghouse on Assessment and Evaluation at the Catholic
University of America anticipates the establishment of a one year Research
Associate position. Primary responsibility will be to develop and expand
the ERIC_AE gopher site. The individual will be expected to 1) track and
post developments with regard to "World-Class Standards", with a special
emphasis on materials of interest to local practitioners, 2) develop a
software exchange for programs, demonstrations and routines related to
assessment, research, and statistics, 3) prepare Digests, 4) conduct
research in the applicant's area of interest.
The ideal candidate for this position is an individual who is knowledgeable
of recent events and developments pertaining to America 2000, has a good
familiarity with internet, has good research and psychometric skills, and
is able to work independently. This position would be ideal as a Post-
doctorate, but there will be no educational requirement. We will consider
less than full-time employment for individuals with extensive related
experience.
Pay will be $25,000-30,000 plus benefits.
