I just want to coroborate Mike Salavesh's post. I knew about the horrendous
odds of getting a job, but I told myself, "I'm damn good, so I'll beat the
odds." Well, I am damn good, but I didn't beat the odds--at least that's true
six years after receiving the doctorate.
