This is a response to the notion the biological = trivial and that
attempt could be made to justify such a statement as a matter of taste,

seems there is a bit of confusion with respect to biological
and cultural as they are being used here perhaps rooted in the
longstanding and defunct nature nurture debate and the relationship of
biology to culture. I would suggest reading, or re-reading Tooby and
Cosmides Chapter "Psychological foundations of Culture" in Barkow,
Cosmides and Tooby The Adapted Mind for explanation of that relationship.
