Ok, folks, lets stop the bickering and name calling, or at least remember
what the bickering was about.

For what its worth, I accept all the blame and/or credit for asking one
simple question. That question was never answered by the other party,
although several days worth's of posts and reposts were exchanged. The
particular question has been resolved, at least to my satisfaction,
although specific questions remain. The results are in the archives.
Comments on those questions are welcome.

Meanwhile, RH and TR, although old players, were new to this hand, and
happened to step into the cross-fire which I began. But they have received
all the flak. That is unfair to them, and is somewhat ill-reflective on
those present critics. RH and TR were merely commenting on the state of
the discussion, they were not active participants in the exchange. Those
who would limit their criticism to RH and TR for the intellectual level of
the debate might better reconsider the contents of the "discussion" at
hand before their arrival before throwing any more cyber-stones.

This is not to say that I wish all blame or credit on myself, although a few
well-aimed critical stones might knock some sense into me.
