So men have their own status hierarchies. So what? Tall or short -
men, and particularly white middle class men, still dominate other
social groups. The Economist article was amusing, but it was also a
clever and quite reprehensible attempt to disparage all affirmative
action by suggesting it is all as ridiculous as recognising short men
as a disadvantaged group.
