Sorry to direct this to the entire list, but my modem just
decided to take an unauthorized break and I lost an address I was responding to
regarding Ferraro's introductory textbook (Thomas, this is actually
for you). So far, there was only one positive response to Ferraro's
book, one negative, and several with suggestions of creating
their own article samplers. While I am stuck with Haviland because
of departmental policies (both at a community and a four-year
college), I will use selected parts from Ferraro.
