Your point is well taken. I think this social engineering thing
with the language is getting us out of the frying pan and into
the fire! The "color" word in speech is definitely another
problem area. (Michelle may censure you!).

I stumbled into this discussion by reacting to oppression against
one individual. I'm now seeing there's much more involved with
all the nastiness that results from dictatorial manipulation of
the language (reminds me of newspeak in Orwell's 1984?). It's
beginning to look like we've only seen the tip of the iceberg.

Your ideas are well founded.
