no i do not think anyone should passivly acceot anything, especially not
something as important as this. My problem was not with your having a
strong opinion oin this, but with the attempt to limit others ideas, and
speech patterns. I think to stop listening to someone because u dont like
the language they use is also a very dangerous trend. As dangerous as
sticking to old vocabularies as new understandings develop. Its not your
stance, but the methods that i was commenting on.
We have to be careful not to become something we dont want to, even if
the reasons are valid.

i say by all means teach your students what u think is right. But let
them know that it is an opinion. DOnt punish them for not sharing your
beliefs.
