Re Hopper's inquiry on multiculturalism and applied anthropology, I too am
interested in this issue. As part of this inquiry, Ann Jordan at
UNorthTexas and myself are coediting a special issue of Journal of Applied
Behavioral Science on the topic "Anthropology's Contribution to Valuing
Diversity". Valuing/managing diversity is business code for dealing with
issues around multiculturalism, as well as gender, "race", etc. Anyone
interested in submitting can contact me for more info--we have not
received many submission yet; submissions are due April 1.
