At this stage of the game, the more interesting question might be "what does
Buchanan's *campaign* budget look like?" Never one to shy away from
conjecture, I offer below a partial dream list of prospective "Buchanan for
President" contributors.

1. The Texas-based manufacturers of _Safeguard_ (TM) chain-link fences,
purveyors of high-quality "Tortilla Curtains" (TM).

2. Real estate interests positioned to acquire and retro-fit a certain
inter-governmental facility located on the East Side of Manhattan.

3. Father Duke's "Nothin' But Orphans" adoption and foster care while-u-wait
service.

4. The publishers of the recently discovered lost classic by Foucault: _
Discipline and Budget_. [Thanks, John! :)]

5. Manufacturers of the US-based "Smokestack-jobs-in-a box" (a holding
corporation and blind trust).
