Although it wasn't for my PhD, for my MA (as far as they went) at GW, I did
take linguistics from Vic Golla. At the time GW Anthro prided itself on
producing well rounded students. Our Comps were 4 field (here is a
cultural anthro who had to answer a question on adaptation to high
altitude among the Peruvians!)
