Hi

I've been asked to post this on this list for the interest of the poor
snowed in people of the "greater" Boston area. These are talks sponsored
by the Biological Anthropology Wing of the Department of Anthropology at
a small college in Cambridge, MA.

About half the time, beer will be available within 100 meters of the site
of the talk. The other half of the time, we'll have to walk down the
street to get the beer. (very important information). I should mention
that that's the Jim Moore Memorial Beer Hour, BTW. But seriously, all
are welcom:

The following talks will be held in the Peabody Museum's Putnam Lab at
3:30 pm and are open to the public.

23 Feb., Fri. - Wendy J. Bailey
"Evolution of chordate complexity: Do hox genes play a role?"

5 Mar., Tues. Robert Sapolsky
"Stress, stress-related disease and personality: Studies of wild baboons"

26 April, Fri. - Susan Lipson
"The impact of variation in ovarian hormone levels
on the probability of successful conception"

10 May, Fri. Alan Mootnick
"Gibbon systematics and conservation"
