Greetings!

I'm getting married in June, and rather than feed 200 people am asking
guests to bring food symbolic of marriage: passion, romance, prosperity,
longevity, constancy, etc. Of course we don't have a ton of food symbolism
active in our American culture, and I have not that great a wealth of
ideas.
Any thoughts, reminisences, prior research, etc into folks respective
cultural or cross cultural knowledge of food symbolism would be greatly
appreciated, ne ravenously devoured!
