There is a computer named watchdog.ftc.gov at 164.62.3.2. I am not
quite sure what the implications are for this discussion. Still,
lacking something like the French Academy, perhaps the policing of
language within the United States should be one of the tasks of the
Federal Trade Commission, though I would be happier for our sweet
English tongue were the job done by Her Majesty's Stationary Office.
