The following will appear in the April Anthropology Newsletter:
Mississippi State University seeks an archaeologist as Visiting Lecturer
(ABD or PhD required) for a one semester or two semester sabbatical
replacement appointment during the 1995-96 academic year. Geographic and
topical specialties open. Teaching load three courses per semester to
include introduction to archeology, rise of civilization, other upper
division archeology and/or introduction to anthropology. Review of
applications to begin on May 15, 1995, and continue until position is
filled. An opportunity for interviews will be available at the Society
for American Aracaeology meeting. Send letter of application, vita, and
names of three references to: Chair, Archaeology Search Committee,
Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Social Work, PO Drawer AR,
Mississippi State University, Mississippi State, MS 39762. Mississippi
