Dear anthro-l subscribers...

As you have no doubt noticed, over the last year, a colleague of ours,
Anita Cohen-Williams, of the Arizona State University Hayden Library,
has been very capably acting as our book and periodical coordinator,
informing us of new and interesting items as they became available. She
has also more recently begun to handle our "helpful list of electronic
anthropology resources". Her service has been invaluable to me, not only
because she is a professional librarian and the quality of her work thus
is much better than my own <smile>, but even more so because it has
allowed me to at last get back to writing my dissertation... <big smile>.
However, in order for her to continue this very valuable service, she
needs to let her school know that her efforts are important to us. I
would therefore request that all of you who agree with me in this regard
please compose a brief statement to this effect, and send it to her at the
following address. She will be passing these messages along to her
boss, so please use the usual "bureaucratese".
