Hi. I can honestly say that, had there been more of a thrust on
fieldwork at the undergrad level, I would not be having to take still
more undergraduate anthro work before applying for advanced study. It
seems to me, though, that a journal (refereed or otherwise) would have to
exist in which to publish the best of the results of such fieldword; then
undergrads would be true anthropologists in training.

I fear many do not give this proposition
the sufficient thought it deserves:
until they become too engrained in a superficial life,
too far removed to find such harmony again...
