I certainly didn't say getting news is a bad thing. I said
repetitive news. I referred to people that, "... repetitively
spread bad news to others that are already aware of it".
Providing new information is desireable.

Actually, entropy is a measure of the amount of disorder. In
terms of information, maximum entropy means unusable information.
