I echo Michael Bauster's sentiments.

Michael said what I was struggling to say.

If you want to leave the list, fine - but don't rationalise your leaving
because of what some post may say. I suggest that you will find other
lists will disappoint your expectations at some time in the future. What
then? Leave for yet another list?

So, when things get tough when I get to do fieldwork I'm to pack my bags
and head home? Some reception I'd get!

This list, as someone else observed, reflects the 'messy world of human
relationships'. One has to love it to understand that in all communities,
even cyberspace communities, individuals ocassionally 'flame'.
