alright...i have a fever...i may not be thinking straight these days...i
may never have thought straight, for that matter....but this just struck
me as too weird to leave uncommented....
the university of colorado??????
the university????
i am breaking my own cardinal rule of not engaging in a debate of the
merits of an absurdity....because i'm just an ol' time conspiracy buff
after all....i wanna know when the university of colorado began defining
anthropology and i especially want to know why the rest of us never
noticed?????
i had always thought anthropology was defined by my electric tooth
brush...you see, it beats out these messages on my teeth every morning....
but seriously as well..
i want to commend mike lieber for his tasteless and too the point
response to johnson's post on the zapatista...to take the very real
horror of what has been happening in chiapas and use
it to make some banal self serving point about your own pet peeves and
puerile paranoias is perhaps the worst kind of imperial abuse, mr.
johnson...i am sure the peoples of chiapas rest much easier knowing they
have such a champion working so diligently on their behalf...you belittle
their lives and their deaths by turning them into some sort of juvenile
debating point, and that goes beyond unconscionable to some higher plain
of self serving manipulation....
talofa,
dougl....
