Well and eloquently said. It makes me crazy when the same scholars who
are so willing to deconstruct every form of identity and tradition then
turn around and argue for the essentialized rights of some minority.

I say, less copyright. The answer to possessive capitalism is not to turn
everything into a commodity to be bought and sold! Resist commodification
- don't embrace it.
