I have begun to get somewhat frustrated by the high incidence of LISTSERV
requests like this being sent to this and many other lists. When one
subscribes to a list, a "Welcome" document is usually sent out explaining
the in's & out's of LISTSERV commands. It usually says "You may want to
save this for future reference..." Save one.

Many of us subscribe to lots of lists and/or get lots of email. Some of
us also get charged by quantity received. "Subscribe" requests I can
understand- it takes new users some time to figure out how lists work-
and I always respond directly to those requests with a pre-fab doc
politely explaining LISTSERV. However, unsub requests....
