Cockroaches are SMART!

You betcha! In the field, Mexican cockroaches were a helluva lot
smarter than I am. Meaner, too, There wasn't a ding dang thing we
could do to get rid of them, and only glass bottles sealed with
metal tops could keep them out. (They went right through aluminum
foil, no matter how many layers we used.)
