A few quickies & miscellany:

1) I lost Michelle Golden's e-mail address; can someone (or Michelle herself,
if she's reading this) send me her address?

2) Does anyone know of a good scholarly forum on religion, pref. history of
religions or religious/cultural history?

3) Boy, you folks have been flaming like mad since December!! Just wanted to
say that sticks and stones may break my bones, but names just make me think the
other person has the cranial capacity and sophistication of J. Phillipe Rushton.
4) "Decolonizing Anthropology:" Mr. Johnson really needs to think his propo-
sitions through. First of all, who gets to decide within the Native comm-
unities? Second, why shouldn't this also apply to all other anthropological
subjects, including corporations, legal and governmental bodies, etc.? Third,
what about other disciplines and professions that "use" other peoples' know-
ledge? I am in total agreement with the spirit of Mr. Johnson's props,
especially with the need to protect indigenous resources and intellectual
property rights, but their expression is a wee bit too totalitarian for my
tastes.

5) Have a nice day, y'all.
