I am preparing a research paper on repatriation/reburial issues.
The focus of the paper is on the repatriation of antiquities and human
remains in the United States; however, in order to discuss the issue
thoroughly, I need to discuss repatriation issues affecting other
nations and societies. There are notable differences in societal attitudes.
I have numerous references from the U.S., Canada, and Australia, but find
I am lacking in other regions. Can anyone provide me with a reference or two
to get me started in other areas, or at least suggest a region where repatriatio
n is becoming the political "hot potato" it is in the U.S. Is repatriation
an issue in South Africa? Thanks!
