Where is Dan Foss now that we so clearly -- desperately -- need him???
I appreciate that a lot of earnest thought goes into the seasonal culture
round, but.... An impatient voice somewhere in my backbrain says that
the interminability of the discussion ought to tell us something. I
would be happier if we stopped comparing recipes and started baking
cakes.
On the other hand, the discussion should satisfy anybody who doubted that
this was a legit anthropology list!
All for now, and back to my version of the Beijing flu, which like
culture talk, also seems to be interminable....
