As a South American anthropologist working on environmental issues, I
think it is very usefull to circulate news on catastrophes such as the one
it is currently happening in Guyana.
The assessing of social and economic aspects of environmental impact became
a great deal for anthropologists' jobs during the last ten years. So
having them discussed on this List appears to me as truly genuine.
Should any subscriber be working on environmental issues I shall be glad of
exchange specific ideas and information.
