University of Kansas, Department of Anthropology, invites applications for a
tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor in sociocultural
anthropology beginning August 16, 1995, contingent upon budgetary approval.
Geographical specialization is open, but a concentration in one or more of
the following is preferred: ethnohistory, folklore, religion, mythology,
museum studies. The successful candidate will be full-time in the Department
of Anthropology, and will be expected to play an active role in the University's
strong Latin American Studies program. PhD at time of appointment. Salary
