Thank you to the many subscribers that answered my question concerning whether
there is a known selection against applicants who have received more than one
degree from an university. Your answers were detailed, and I appreciate the
time you must have taken to answer so fully.
My commitment to pursuing the path of combining my RN education and experience
with a BA/MA/PhD in Anthropology (and subsequent quest for a postion in a
research university) is quite strong. Your responses, and the continued thread
on academic atmospheres and selection priorities, are illuminating.
