Hello. I'm new to this list and would like to ask two things:

1) I'm writing my dissertation (at the Univeristy of Florida) on
the impact of tourism on the fishing communities of Isla Margarita,
Venezuela. I was there doing fieldwork from January, 1992 to August
1994. I'd like to hear from anyone who's interested/experienced in
the same topic or geographical region.

2) I'm also searching for an anthropologist named Kimberly Cook
who did fieldwork in Margarita sometime before I did, researching
female aggression in a small community called Chacachacare. She got
her degree from a California university. Anyone know where I can
reach her?
