Answer to hermeneutics question?

Did anyone hear the NPR story this morning on the psychic amateur
archaeologist who is supposedly "sought after by eminent anthropologists
worldwide"? I have never heard of the anthropologists mentioned in the
story. This guy walks around sites, picks up artifacts, lapses into a
trance, and "reads" the visions which occur to him. The psychic
"readings" sound like children's caveman stories:

|A family lives in a cave, speaking to each other in grunts, fighting
over raw bits of rabbit| (sample reading)

Is this hermeneutics? ;-) ;-p
