Gail, I received a similar message from a different source a couple of
days ago. Difference is that my message suggested we write to
Kevin Sullivan, Sr.

A few minutes after I received your note, I got another message from
yet another source to the effect that Apple has reiterated its position
and stated that they will not change their policy because of pressure
from the radical right. I tend to believe this because I knew
a couple of Apple executives in another life (at least, in another
city), one of whom was fairly high in the organization. He was gay.
For what it's worth, I sent a note to Apple yesterday -- regardless
of the need -- expressing my support for their health-care policy.
