It seems to me that the reason pomo is so popular in anthro is that it is a
(that is a, one possibility) extention of cultural relativity to smaller
and more specific units or points of perspective. Pomo thus resonates with
many anthropologists at one of the fundemental junctures of the disipline,
and our understanding of what it is we do, and what it is we should do.
