James (and everyone else)--

Now that is odd. I distinctly remember reading a newspaper article a few
years back about a british couple who named their daughter "Princess" and
were then told that it wasn't legal to name a child with a royal title.
(Of course, I don't remember where I read it, a reoccuring flaw in my
distinct memories). Do we have any british readers who can corroborate
the existence of such a law? Maybe Isherwood was born before the law
passed (heck, maybe he inspired it). Maybe "Baron" doesn't rate the same
level of protection (I can't remember how important a baron is supposed to
be--Sigh).
Sorry--I'm babbling. Friday afternoons are so dull around here....
