what's your collective problem in simple language about..

1. When I proposed yesterday, as should be prima facie obvious to a sociolo-
gist, as the latter, plural, have lived guiltily with the situation for
decades now, that Anthropology can be both ideology and science, and what's
even tougher, sorry, has no choice in the matter, this was ignored (argumentum
ex silentio). What's more, the Proclamation by Matt Tomaso,

>EVERYTHING BUT THE EXACT RESULTS OF THE HYPOTHESIS TEST IS INTERPRETIVE.

...which is only Kuhnian orthodoxy, after all, is a fortiori, and Exponenti-
ated to a Higher Power, for the Easy (or unnatural) sciences than the Hard.

2. I never claimed originality for the notions of taken-for-granted and
explicit ideology. Those who know their Bourdieu recognize the translation
into everyday English.

3. I have previously stated on this list that economic behaviour, such as
the accumulation of capital and market-rationality, is as congruent with
Predestination by Divine Providence as it is with fleawill. The latter merely,
among us, represents the System Default.
