I just picked up a response in book form to the Bell Curve. It is
entitled 'The
The Bell Curve Debate: History, Documents, Opinions' edited
by Russell Jacoby and Naomi Glauberman and published by Times Books. 1995
ISBN 0-8129-2587-9, selling for $15. Looks interesting. It's a collection
of articles, many of which are already posted, but some new ones to me.
Besides Kamin and Gould's salvos there is an interesting piece by Howard
Gardner. I find the last section 'Root and Branch: The History' especially
useful. It gives a good documentary history of eugenics and IQ testing.
