indigenous pedagogies

I am looking for any ethnographies that examine, in part or in whole,
pedagogies indigenous to Native American cultures (how given people go about
teaching the young, and not so young, that is emically understood as an
indigenous, traditional way to teach). I am not only interested in the content
of what is being taught, but the forms of that teaching (not that I mean to
falsely seperate the two), and what counts as having "learned". Any reference
would be helpful.
Thanks in advance,
