There are a number of quite legitimate ways the term
"post-structuralism" has been used in the social sciences over the
years, not to mention in the arts.
I do think it odd that Pound believes that his account and historical
references are the "right" one.
Just a note on nethics (net-ethics) here. In my experience anthro-l
functions best when people add their own perspective, instead of
contradictiing someone else's. At its best, this list can be a wonderful
way of gaining perspective and learning from each other. It always
teeters on the edge of devolving into a flame war, and it seems to go in
that direction when people start talking about each other, instead of
the topic at hand.
Yes, here I broke my own rule! I apologize to Pound, but swaggering
around with the truth, putting other people in their place, is
polluting the commons.
