looking for phallus-information in different cultures?

I am looking for all kinds of information about the
fertility-symbol "phallus" in the different cultures.
I have found out that it was very common in the greek-, french-,
japannees history.

Is there anyone out there that is willing to help me find out in
which libraries and/of magazines i could find more information.

And is is possible o help me to continue my survey.
