If you read Stephen Gould's latest book "Full House" he'll explain
why the concept of evolution being "directional" to "higher" or "more complex"
organisms is a folk fallacy.
Prof. Gould teaches palentology at Harvard and is currently on a national
lecture to promote his new book.
