Pediatrician or pediatrist should be one who practices pediatrics or
pediatry.

Podiatrician or podiatrist might be one who practices podiatrics or
podiatry.

Greek for child is Pedi, (stress on "i",) Greek for foot is Podi (stress
on "o".)

I have not checked the English dictionaries; if they suggest the
contrary, then they are all wrong; I know better, because I am Greek.

Anyway, it is nice to see that there are people out there who check-out
my thread, even if they choose not to participate in the debate.
