Isn't 1 horsepower = (about) 745 W?? In that much more sensible unitary
domain of SI.

I like the way the SI system takes the name of James Watt, for example, a
classical chap no doubt versed in ye olde Brit Imp measure, and gives it to
the metric system's unit of power. There's a sort of *hands across the sea*
gesture of peace and unity about it. Don't you think?
