Am I missing a particularly subtle piece of logic here?

Hauke thinks astrology is insignificant, therefore he is:
- An abuser of women and children
- A user of drugs and alcohol.

Frankly, most of the people I know who take astrology seriously take a
lot more drugs than the people I know who don't take astrology seriously.
What's the star sign for a sense of humour and proportion?
