My favorite practical measure to determine the amount
of hops to be added to a barrell when dry hopping is described
traditionally as

"The amount a large woman can grasp in one hand."

Although I personally prefer the Imperial Pint over the US Pint
I still think the metric system has the splendid advantage
of making the 1 liter "Mass" the standard beer drinking measure.
