I am doing research on African-American women's headwraps (scarfs,
geles, etc.). I am looking for ANY information pertaining to headwraps
or the process of headwraping. I am particularly interested in
headwraping as a part of culture carried over from Africa to the
Americas during the slave "trade". I am also interested in looking for
anyone interested in body ornamentation who I can work under at a
