Fellowship Opportunity - Environment and Dislocation

The Globalization Project at the University of Chicago is a three year
research program on globalization. The 1997-98 Project theme is
Environment and Dislocation, including the implications for forced and
voluntary human movements of global environmental policies, catastrophic
events or long-term degradation. Of particular interest are SE Asia
and Africa. The Project plans to award a Senior Fellowship (4 weeks) and
3 Post-Doctoral Fellowships (9 weeks) up to $4000 each, subject to cost
of travel. The Project will cover airfare at the most economical rate.
All applicants should submit a c.v., published article and 1-3 page
research statement. Post-Doctoral applicants should submit 3 letters
of recommendation.
