I've never seen a quote from Jesus on the origin of species.

The original poster, like too many human beings, confuses what feels good
for what is verifiable or true. The evidence for evolution theory is as
overwhelming as is the evidence for the germ theory of disease. But
then, there are Christian Scientists who would rather let their children
die than use antibiotics, aren't there? The power of blind faith is not
susceptible to reasoned hypothesis testing approximations of reality.

Some people are simply unprepared to put away their childish things.
