It might have been good news for the users, but I don't think it
was good news for the whales (blubber used as a lipstick base),
monkeys, rabbits, rats etc used to test the cosmetics on.

Is there any research (from an anthropology perspective) into
using animals to test drugs/cosmetics/anything else on?
Is it a new phenomenon? What about the rise of people against
this? Sounds like a thesis to me...
